Lead brand events manager

We're seeking a Lead Brand Events Manager to create and execute memorable events that showcase our brand and engage our audience. This role will spearhead strategic planning and implementation of all brand events, from conferences to product launches and webinars.

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Planning (60%)

• Develop and execute events strategy targeting developer persona and senior technical leaders
• Manage 3rd-party conference participation, hiring events, meetups, and intimate dinners
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on content creation and experiences
• Oversee event logistics, vendors, and budgets

Demand Generation & Sales Opportunities (20%)

• Partner with demand-gen and sales teams to drive qualified leads
• Create events that accelerate sales opportunities

Employment Branding & Candidate Pipeline (20%)

• Design compelling employment branding experiences
• Build candidate pipeline for senior leadership roles
• Collaborate with universities for talent acquisition and research opportunities

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in event management, particularly tech/developer events
• Strong understanding of developer community engagement
• Proven track record in events driving brand awareness and results
• Excellence in project management and communication
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects
